Impact platform OnHand achieves B Corp certification

As an impact platform, we’re committed to doing good. Whether that be allowing OnHanders to help out in local communities, promoting remote missions that anyone can do from anywhere, or encouraging OnHanders to take on climate-friendly pledges that they can incorporate into their new day to day, ‘good’ doesn’t have just one look.

Our commitment to social and environmental good has paid off. Our B Corp certification is proof of the good deeds that we facilitate. After all, OnHand is intensely concerned with community value; what can a collective do, when joined together by one commonality? 

A whole lot, we’ve found. Becoming B Corp certified after our biggest year ever as a platform certainly feels promising for our continuing upwards trajectory. 

In 2023 alone, OnHand users completed over 1.2 million actions through the app. This covers any sort of social and eco good that we promote: from befriending calls to food bank donations; shop drops to watching educational videos on society’s biggest topics; pledging to reduce your carbon footprint to donating old clothes to charity shops or clothing banks. This is a huge number of people doing good in their local communities, supporting individuals and charities alongside making personal lifelong commitments for the sake of a better future.

We’ve joined B Lab in changing the rules of the game. The world’s problems aren’t going away, which is why OnHand is here to provide local help for too-common issues like loneliness, poverty, homelessness, and climate change.

The ‘B’ in B Lab stands for ‘Benefit for all’. The B Global network mobilises the B Corp movement to change our economic system to positively impact all stakeholders – workers, communities, customers, and our planet. OnHand’s business is a force for good, and our brand new certification only proves that.
